BAKEDBONES started in a small kitchen in the heart of Texas with the simple belief that dogs deserve our best.

We use the sales of our wellness recipes to improve the quality of life for your dog at home AND dogs without a home.

10% of all BAKEDBONES profits are donated to our no-kill rescue partners.

our INSPIRATION

When we adopted Olive in 2015, she became the heart of our family. She was about five months old when we started noticing signs that something was wrong.

Olive was born with an immune deficiency that kept her from being able to fight off Demodectic Mange. She began to have little bumps on her tummy that quickly spread across her body. Her hair fell out and she scratched her face until she bled. In addition to prescribed medications, we were desperate for a way to make her more comfortable.

our RESPONSE

With a love for baking and passion for dogs, we set on a mission to “bake dogs happy."  

We’ve spent years researching ways to manage stress and promote mindfulness in our own lives, and CBD has played an important role in our approach to wellness. ​ Naturally, we wanted to share that key to balance with our own rescue dogs.

Supporting our partnering non-profit organizations means every purchase helps a dog in need. 

An estimated 3 million dogs enter shelters each year and only 60% of these dogs are adopted into forever homes​.

our FAMILY

Our family is made of equal parts Olive & Emma (our rescue dogs), Chris, and Brantley – mixed with lots of love. We are passionate about the quality of life we give to our own pets and that is the foundation for helping others do the same for their dogs. ​

After much research, testing, trials and errors, and a few burnt batches, we developed the original Baked Bone. Special thanks to our taste-testers, Olive & Emma, for their rigorous taste testing.​ ​Our kitchen has grown but our mission, passion, and commitment to quality remains the same.
